Sugar and Fatty Liver (click on image to enlarge)

Your liver can be damaged by something other than drinking too much alcohol - too much sugar!  While 40 grams of added sugar per day is a good limit for most people, the average American eats about 92 grams of sugar per day!  Watch as Dr. Alan Greene, Dr. Miriam Vos, and Dr. Oz discuss how too much sugar affects your liver in this video (to the right of Dr. Oz's picture in the link below).

  1. I fill up a Klean Kanteen stainless steel water bottle in the morning. It holds around 27 oz. I also drink 2 cups of coffee (no sugar, a little whole milk), 1-2 cups of tea, and try to eat at least five servings of veggies and fruits per day (mostly water, so these count towards my water intake). I still need a little more water during the day.
